Daniel Lauby Jr., born on December 11, 1992, in Terre Haute, better known as Danny Lauby, is a promising American darts player who competes in tournaments organized by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and the World Darts Federation (WDF).

Early Steps and Debuts

In 2018, Lauby took his first steps by participating in Q-School, a significant milestone in his darting career. The same year, he made his debut at the US Darts Masters on the World Series of Darts, where he narrowly lost to James Wade with a score of 5-6.

On the Global Stage

In November 2020, Lauby represented his home country alongside Chuck Puleo at the World Cup of Darts. His victory in the CDC North American Continental Cup in October 2019 also earned him a spot at the PDC World Darts Championship in December 2020. Despite delivering a strong performance, he was defeated in the first round by Ryan Searle.

Continued Progression

In 2021, Lauby reached the final of Challenge Tour 9, highlighting his growing skills and determination. At the PDC World Darts Championship of the same year, Lauby put up an impressive fight but fell short against William O'Connor in the first round, despite a match dart.

In March 2022, Lauby made his debut at the UK Open, making an impact by reaching the third round. Just three months later, he participated once again in the US Darts Masters. On September 17, he stood in the final of Challenge Tour 19, further emphasizing his rising influence in the world of darts.
